  • Any time you use the yellows and greens, and have the darker lines going through it, I always have an overall impression of trees and nature, and don’t necessarily see anything else in it, because I just like the overall feeling of the piece.    There is always a face or two of something or other if I look closely.  If I have to “find” something, I at first see a bow (the darker color up at the top) with long ribbon coming down from it.  I can see anything from a small cat face at the bottom, to a frog on top of that, to a small person with their arms spread wide and lifted up high, to a feeling of a bug with tentacles. I don’t have much depth perception, so often I just see an overall color pattern that either appeals to me or not.  I like the colors and patterns of this.  And if I sit farther away form the computer, it changes the look and feel.

  • @songoftheheart - thank you, your impressions are important to me, your general scope reaches the span of my intention. creating them is fun but a little taxing on the retina.

  • I see several faces, gem shapes, tree branches, leaves, and a butterfly queen with beautiful wings.
So many little pics in this big pic.

    HUGS and Happy SunnySunday!
PS…when looking at the Rorschach inkblots (in college classes) I always saw female innard/reproductive organs or butterflies. No one could ever explain to me why.

  • @AdamsWomanFell - thank you. yes, the inkblots come to mind a lot while creating these. i feel like i might be revealing more of myself then i really might be comfortable with. ive been referring to them as ‘daydream machines’,  interpreting them is a very personal thing. this is why im asking folks what dominates the vision within these symmetric displays. i kinda see them as ‘mirrors’.
my thoughts here regarding your seeing reproductive systems, was Rorschach a Freudian or a Jungian, with my images i like Jung for his archetypal  take on things. some what more empowering, i think.

  • @longshadow618 - Have you ever explained how you create these beautiful works of art? I love looking at them and seeing what I am able to see. They bring me joy and conjure up some whimsey. When I post my poems and stories I feel very vulnerable…so much of me and my deepest thoughts and feelings are there. That’s why sometimes I put up something I’ve written and then take it down pretty quickly. I’m not sure most people get how I feel or that if they are really reading, then get to know me better.

  • @AdamsWomanFell - i feel like im getting to know folks here much the same as these pieces, layers and patterns, colors and depth.

  • I see a cat, tree branches, saphires, a code of arms, an acorn,, cross, and different shapes.  I love the color.
