  • a thought for the mother

The Tao is called the Great Mother:
    empty yet inexhaustible,
it gives birth to infinite worlds.

It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want.

  • Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
    talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other

people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
    God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
    we unconsciously give other people
    permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
    Our presence automatically liberates others.

  • a little on the little people

let me tell you a little bit of what i know of the little people.

    they are quite real.

well, as real as you accept them anyway, much the way we treat each other really.
the more you accept them the more active they become.

they like shiny things, pennies, toss pennies when you got um’,they’ll see that you know about them, and word will get around.
keep in mind that they give what they get.

its wise to never fear them.

they love it when you are looking to put something in a safe place…..
    socks…socks are real big.
they taught the celts how to make um’.

they really love to hear stories about fay and elf-kind exploits.
    laughter is the currency.
tell a tale in the night of a fairies tricks
it might be enough to bring good fortune. the funnier the better
laughter strengthens the wings, fairies don’t like to walk.

    keep it light.

little folk with sore feet are not to be fucked with.
things can go both ways with them. yes, i said both not either.  yet, it can go, either or.
    believe at your own risk.
again, they give what they get.

  • chapter 36

    36
If you want to shrink something,
you must first allow it to expand.
If you want to get rid of something,
you must first allow it to flourish.
If you want to take something,
you must first allow it to be given.
This is called the subtle perception
    of the way things are.

    The soft overcomes the hard.
    The slow overcomes the fast.
Let your workings remain a mystery.
    Just show people the results.

  • the rites of spring

from  my cloister i hear them call
    the rites
    they have begun
    the song,
each voice, that of its singer, whole
from the pit, the tuning din.
once in sync, the song begins.
    rising slow on sunrise rays
    through the warming green
    the soloists find their range
    waking
    within
    that one purpose
sing of all that i am
i am worthy of this creation
i wish to carry on in progeny and purpose
this is my rite of spring
you will hear me and know my song as your harmony
sing as to let me hear yours.
    i will know it.

  • chapter 6

The spirit of emptiness is immortal.
It is called the Great Mother
because it gives birth to Heaven and Earth.

    It is like a vapor,
    barely seen but always present.
    Use it effortlessly.
