Happy Birthday, he was such a great writer
Happy birthday!
Isn’t there a tradition of a mysterious visitor leaving a rose at his grave each year? Or am I thinking of someone else?
@distractedbyzombies - yes, there has been,but as i understand they havent been by in a few years.
@longshadow618 - That’s a shame. Ah well.
this is so good. i love how you captured his eyes.
@promisesunshine -
@distractedbyzombies - you know, i might be thinking Valentino. there was the same tradition with his tomb. ‘the woman in black’
wow, you are very talented, and yes happy birthday to a great writer.
He looks so sad, like his eyes are just begging for something more…
Good ole Edgar, no one does “creepy” like he could Cheers, Bren
@kmancat01 - ’the tell tale heart’ scared the crap outa’ me when i was a kid
@longshadow618 - no, i looked it up. there was a visitor at poe’s. cognac and roses. but it stopped a few year’s ago.
@longshadow618 - how do i get there? i know stupid question, but i can never find anything.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Poe! You did him proud, Ed! Love his writing as a kid…and still love it today…Annabelle Lee…The Tell-Tale Heart…HUGS!
@distractedbyzombies - This is correct, though the person the tradition was passed down to had not left a rose since 2009

One of my favorite writers, and a beautiful portrait!
