a dash more tao, ‘chapter 25′
Something mysteriously formed,
Born before heaven and Earth.
In the silence and the void,
Standing alone and unchanging,
Ever present and in motion.
Perhaps it is the mother of ten thousand things.
I do not know its name
Call it Tao.
For lack of a better word, I call it great.Being great, it flows
It flows far away.
Having gone far, it returns.Therefore, “Tao is great;
Heaven is great;
Earth is great;
The king is also great.”
These are the four great powers of the universe,
And the king is one of them.Man follows Earth.
Earth follows heaven.
Heaven follows the Tao.
Tao follows what is natural.

yay! an alien! i’ve so missed my aliens. did this start as the same pic as eden?
@promisesunshine - no. this is just a mirror image of a Hubble image.
Some of the Hubble pics are so amazing. The beauty that is out in the universe, unseen by man. We have our little world, and our eyes see only what is right in front of our face. The Hubble pics…so totally amazing.
Sometimes when I read your posts on the Tao, it’s almost as if I can feel the rhythm of the ocean, flowing out and flowing in. Today the words are gently flowing, back and forth, back and forth…
@songoftheheart - flowing as it should. our machinery gets in the way. have you heard any of the ‘voyager’ recordings of the sounds of space? those would add an extra dimension to your impressions.
@longshadow618 - No, I’ll have to look those up.
I like this.
